APPLICATIONS are open for Healthy Parks Healthy People grants.
The Healthy Parks Healthy People Community Grants Program will help local groups to deliver projects that protect and enhance the natural, cultural and heritage values of parks and reserves in Casey, South Eastern Metropolitan Region Inga Peulich said.
A total of $430,000 will go to successful applicants across the state.
Previous community projects included tree planting days, pest animal and plant works, information signs, books and information events.
“The winning projects will benefit local economies, our parks and the people that deliver the projects,” Ms Peulich said.
