A MOTORCYCLIST has been injured following a short police pursuit in Hallam yesterday (Wednesday).
About 10am, police attempted to stop the driver of a Suzuki motorcycle on Saffron Drive in relation to minor traffic offences.
Police said the driver refused to pull over and a police pursued the motorcycle until the for about 30 seconds
The rider subsequently crashed into a fire hydrant in Nettle Drive.
The rider, a 36-year-old Doveton man, was taken to The Alfred hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
