OBITUARY
MARGUERITE ALLAN
Born: 24 January 1933
Died: 4 September 2011

MARGUERITE Allan will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She was born at the Pakenham Bush Nursing Hospital and passed away at the South Eastern Hospital where she had been having treatment for nearly four years with the wonderful caring staff in oncology and her specialist Dr Andrew Strickland.
She travelled extensively around the world and later around Australia. Her volunteer work included a Cub Leader with the 1st Berwick Scout Group, Red Cross Driver, Meals on Wheels, an inaugural member of the Wilson Botanic Park, both Berwick hospitals, St John of God and Casey, a member of the Berwick Anglican Church and heavily involved with the annual Flower Show.
She was helping at Wilson Park just two weeks before her passing.
During her life, Marguerite was awarded Citizen of the Year with Casey in 1997 and Rotary also awarded her with a Paul Harris Fellowship for her contribution to the community in 2005.
A member of the combined Probus Club of Berwick Central, Marguerite enjoyed the fellowship and friendship.
She lived at Braeside Park and was a lively member of this wonderful community who were like family to her and the Allan family wish to thank all residents who were so wonderful to her.
She will be missed by her family and the Berwick community.
Always cheerful and loving, she will never be forgotten.
