POLICE are looking for a man believed to have deceived numerous people by an eBay scam.
Police said the victims of the scams have had email discussions with a person purporting to be selling vehicles, and have been told to purchase a car through eBay as it is more secure.
Police said the victims then received an email deceiving them into believing it was from eBay, which contains payment instructions for a false holding account.
The victims pay for the vehicles but never receive them.
Police are looking for a man believed to be responsible for the scams. He is described as being of Indian sub continental appearance, 20 to30 years old, has brown eyes and short dark hair.
