MAD Hatters took over the Pakenham Hall during a recent Probus Club event.
The Probus Clubs of Casey and Cardinia held a Mad Hatter Tea Party-themed event on Friday 28 October at the Pakenham Hall.
There were 177 Probus members in attendance from 10 clubs who were entertained by Sentimental Journey.
Decorations were created and set up by the Narre Warren Combined Club, and consisted of coloured helium balloons, life-size figures of Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat and the Dormouse.
There were competitions for the best table and the best man’s and woman’s hat. The winning table came from the Pakenham East Probus Club that won the best table and Nevile White won the best man’s hat and Marlene Knaap won the best woman’s hat.
