Police hot mail appeal

VANDALS set a Narre Warren South mailbox alight on New Year’s Day. Police said that about 8am on 1 January, a 61-year-old woman heard two youths outside her house and when she looked outside she noticed her mail box was on fire. The fire was out by the time she went outside. The woman approached the youths who denied any knowledge of the fire.
Police said it appeared junk mail inside the letter box was set alight. Anyone with details can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
