I read with interest that Premier Daniel Andrews visited the Casey-Cardinia region regarding the construction of new primary schools.
What the Premier failed to say, however, was that he did not pay for the new schools.
These schools were actually paid for in 2014 by the former Liberal-National Government.
The Premier’s rushed visit to discuss the construction of these schools was just a feeble attempt by him to draw attention away from the current crisis facing his government.
The extraordinary allegations of rorting of government funds by ALP MPs shows that this new government is faced with yet another major crisis.
The State Government should be focussed on the needs of Victorian families.
The Premier needs to stop fighting with his own colleagues and start listening to the needs of this community.
Nick Wakeling MP,
Shadow Minister for Education.
