Three arrested in gun-trafficking raid

 A man and two women have been arrested by police in Narre Warren as part of a gun-and-drug trafficking investigation.
Police allegedly seized firearms, ammunition, drugs, cash, a motorcycle, a Holden Club Sport and other miscellaneous items during a raid of a Narre Warren property on 30 January.
A 24-year-old Narre Warren man was charged with offences including trafficking a commercial quantity of methamphetamine, being a prohibited person possessing a firearm, two counts of motor-vehicle theft and possessing proceeds of crime.
He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 31 January.
A 23-year-old Narre Warren woman faces charges of trafficking a commercial quantity of methamphetamine, possessing a firearm, two counts of motor-vehicle theft and possessing proceeds of crime.
A 54-year-old Narre Warren woman is expected to be charged on summons with possessing a prohibited weapon, police say.
The raid was conducted by North West Metro Regional Crime Squad detectives and Mill Park divisional response unit as part of Operation King Cobra.
