Member for Narre Warren South Gary Maas will be holding two community forums on Thursday 16 May at the Old Cheese Factory in Berwick.

Prior to the 2018 State Election Mr Maas committed to working and listening to local residents about what matters to them. The Community Matters Forums are a part of this commitment.

Mr Maas is looking forward to hearing from residents expressing their views on issues such as roads, transport, policing, jobs, health and education.

“Understanding what matters to our local community is a vital part of getting things done,” he said.

“Bringing the community together and listening to feedback is the only way we can navigate pathways forward.

“Community Matters brings back the concept of the town hall meeting where residents can have their say about state government issues.”

The two sessions will be held at 2pm and 6pm.

Places will be limited, so Mr Maas encourages those in the community who are interested in attending to contact nichole.hayes@parliament.vic.gov.au to book a seat.
