Friends and family came together at Hampton Park Primary School where students hosted a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) open day to showcase their learning.

There were smiles all round with students who provided their guests a tour of their classroom facilities and learning programs on Wednesday 22 May.

School principal Liz Davey said the day formed part of Education Week, and was great opportunity for children to enjoy some hands-on activities with loved ones.

“Our many visitors took part in the maths challenges, STEM activities and science experiments,” she said.

“The interactive robotics and Physical Education displays were very popular.

“Families and friends were able to gain an insight into their children’s learning and more importantly the students enjoyed sharing their learning with them.”
