Police brief: Three arrested after foot chase in Clyde North

Police have arrested three men who allegedly attempted to flee the scene of their crime in Clyde North on foot on Tuesday 19 July.

Police were called to reports of a stolen vehicle allegedly performing burnouts, and upon their arrival it is alleged three offenders ran from the vehicle.

Two men were arrested after a foot chase, while a third was arrested on Wednesday 20 July by detectives from Casey Crime Investigation Unit.

A 20-year-old from Pakenham was charged with aggravated home invasion, burglary, theft of motor vehicle, handle stolen goods and breach of bail. He was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court.

A 19 year-old from Officer had three outstanding warrants and was charged with theft of motor vehicle. He was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates Court on the 22nd November.

A 19-year-old from Berwick was charged with burglary, theft and breach of bail. He was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday 20 July.
