CRANBOURNE kept its season ticking along with a comfortable victory over St Albans.
Playing on Saturday at VU St Albans’ Kings Park Reserve home ground, the Eagles swooped in to seize a 45-point triumph.
Keeping the visitors to a solitary goal, the best work from Cranbourne came from the hard running younger Eagles.
Georgia Fisher, fresh off her SEJ Interleague duties, starred as she roamed the field at will with Rachael Hunt and Ebony Hobson also impressing alongside Kim Graham, Houda Sidani and Brittany Wood.
Kirsten Mcleod booted two goals and continued to hold onto her spot atop the VWFL Division 1 goal-kicking on 18 goals, equal with Knox’s Kirsty Stratton, while Kerry Anderson kicked a pair of her own.
Cranbourne sits fifth on the VWFL Division 1 ladder and heads to face St Kilda on Sunday afternoon at Peanut Farm Reserve.
In Division 3/4 results, Cranbourne continued the winning ways for the Eagles on Sunday with a 50-point win over Melton Centrals.
Hallam also won easily as the Hawks knocked off Bayswater 11.9 (75) to 1.1 (7).
