$6 million drugs bust

EARLY morning police raids across Narre Warren North, Dandenong and the rest of the state have seized more than $6 million worth of drugs and broken up an international multi-million dollar trafficking syndicate.
The Joint Organise Crime Task force, led by the Australian Federal Police and Victoria Police detectives, arrested five people in the raids earlier today.
It is believed in excess of $4.5 million worth of heroin has been seized in the raids so far, as well as $1.5 million in ecstasy tablets.
The simultaneous warrants were executed at residential and business properties in Narre Warren North, Dandenong, Wollert, Roxburgh Park, Epping, Bundoora, Essendon, Docklands, Campbellfield, Hadfield, Glenroy, Fitzroy, Meadow Heights and Brunswick.
Searches are still underway and it is understood police have also uncovered a significant amount of cash.
