Medals for avid readers

By Cam Lucadou-Wells

MOSSGIEL Park Primary’s keenest readers were celebrated during Book Week awards on 22 August.
As part of the Excellence in Reading Awards, students received medals and dressed in red to signify they were well “read”.
The school was also visited by author Chrissie Parry during a week of activities around the theme “Australia! Story Country”.
The week also featured a ‘guess the number of pages’ competition, and a literacy competition.
