Counting on help from birth

MULTIPLE births will be in focus next month when the Casey and District Multiple Birth Association (CDMBA) celebrates Multiple Birth Awareness Week.
The group will hold a picnic on Saturday, 4 March from 10am to 1pm at Tirhatuan Park, Kriegel Way, Dandenong North.
The CDMBA has 103 members from Narre Warren, Cranbourne, Pakenham, Dandenong, Hampton Park, Endeavour Hills and Berwick and attracted 40 new families last year.
The organisation aims to provide social support to parents and carers of multiple-birth children as well as offering educational information and literature on issues specific to multiple births.
CDMBA also aims to promote community awareness of the unique needs of multiple-birth families and improve the resources available to parents.
