APPLICATIONS are now open for funds of up to $1000 through the City of Casey Conservation Initiative Grants Program.
Creative and innovative projects are invited in the areas of revegetation/landscaping, interpretive education, training, waste minimisation and alternative energy across the range of natural, built or cultural environments.
The council says the grants were a key part of the its commitment to conserving the environment, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing habitats for birds and animals, and providing open spaces for residents to enjoy.
Applications must be received by 5pm, Friday 13 May.
