Chamber gets new look

By Lia Bichel
THE Narre Warren Chamber of Commerce is being transformed.
Next week, the organisation will launch its new name, the Narre Warren Region Business Group.
The name change reflects the diversity of businesses in the area and the wider reach of the group, Narre Warren Region Business Group president Ross Neilson said.
“The previous name was commonly identified with the catchment area of Webb Street, Narre Warren and was thought to be confining,” he said.
Besides launching the new name, the Narre Warren Region Business Group will soon launch their new website and logo.
Mr Neilson said Narre Warren Region Business Group held monthly networking events, and invited residents to attend the launch of the new name at a network evening on 11 May.
The event will be held at the Kilgerron Homestead, 180 Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, Narre Warren South. It is free to local businesses. Finger food will be provided, and drinks are available at bar prices.
RSVP by 9 May to Karen Watson on kwatson@questapartments.com.au.
Mr Neilson said the organisation is growing rapidly and invited more business people to attend.
