CASEY residents are encouraged to cast their vote for a Narre Warren girl to be named 2011 Girlfriend of the Year.
Budding aerial skier Jaymee Sanders, 16, is one of six finalists in a competition run by Girlfriend magazine.
Now in its seventh year, the competition strives to reward teenagers from across Australia who are working towards making their dreams come true.
If Jaymee wins, she will receive $3000 to help pay for her dream of representing Australia in the Olympics as well as training and support, an all-expenses-paid trip to Sydney and a 12-month Girlfriend subscription.
Jaymee was a gymnast for 10 years before beginning aerial ski training a year ago.
She hopes to become a professional aerial skier after finishing her studies at Fountain Gate Secondary College next year.
Votes can be lodged at girlfriend.com.au and lines are open until 10 June.
The winner of the competition will be announced in the July issue of the magazine.
