Police arrest erratic drink driver

POLICE arrested a drink driver believed to have been involved in a series of collisions in Endeavour Hills on the weekend.
Witnesses to police said they saw a man driving a Mazda sedan erratically on Gladstone Road near Heatherton Road about 6pm Sunday night. They followed the vehicle which was involved in a minor collision on Alamfi Drive.
Police arrested the man, 28, about 8.20pm. He had a blood alcohol reading of 0.271 per cent. Police believe the man travelled along Gladstone Road, Princes Highway, Clow Street, Kidds Road, Power Road, Amalfi Drive and James Cook Drive before he was apprehended and that he may have been involved in a number of collisions.
