Ageing with a positive twist

SENIOR citizens in Casey are invited to the Positive Ageing in Casey Festival next month.
The festival has the theme Spring into Life and runs from 2 to 16 October.
It offers a comprehensive program, featuring more than 40 activities including walking groups, fitness sessions, performances, concerts, crafts, information sessions, day trips and discussion groups.
Coinciding with the state-wide Victorian Seniors week, the festival aims to provide activities which promote health and wellbeing, introduce residents to new activities and bring together residents from different geographical and cultural groups.
A booklet has been produced to outline the comprehensive festival program, which can be obtained from the council website at www.casey.vic.gov.au/ageingpositively or by phone the City of Casey Customer Service on 9705 5200.
