POLICE charged a Berwick man with drug offences after finding more than 1200 tablets of what they believe is ecstasy last week.
About 4.30pm on 15 September, police were doing a routine vehicle interception in a car park on the corner of Belgrave Hallam Road and Princes Highway, Hallam, when they located a plastic bag containing the tablets.
They charged a 23-year-old Berwick man with trafficking and possessing a drug of dependence.
The man was remanded to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Thu-rsday last week.
