FAMILIES are invited to make a splash at the Casey Aquatic and Recreation Centre (ARC) in Narre Warren this weekend to celebrate the centre’s 10th birthday. There will be numerous activities for people of all ages at the event on Saturday.
It will feature market stalls, water activities, blood pressure testing, underwater photography, giant pool inflatable, group fitness classes, Kapa Haka Maori Cultural Group performance and a sausage sizzle.
The event will run from 11am until 4pm.
City of Casey Mayor Shar Balmes said Casey ARC, which is managed for council by the YMCA, was a wonderful centre which offered a diverse range of programs and services which cater for all ages.
City of Casey Manager Sport and Leisure Richard Amon said the ARC offered much more than swimming.
It also has a health club, group fitness classes, personal training, YMCA Aquatic Education and Y Splash holiday programs, a wave pool, childcare facility, physiotherapy and massage clinic, children’s programs and the Good Life cafe.
For more information about the birthday celebrations visit www.caseyarc.ymca.org.au on 9705 5000.
