Gleneagles Secondary College Student Well-being Co-ordinator Maxine Foster said the program was more than providing students with breakfast.
“It’s not just about having a nourishing breakfast; it’s also about the positive start to the day and the friendship and welcome that is extended to everyone,” Ms Foster said,
“Sponsorship from Mr Donnellan assists the Breakfast Program to keep going from strength to strength!” Mr Donnellan said it was vital for many students, who may not be able to eat at home, to have access to healthy food and a positive atmosphere before their school day. “Breakfast clubs like this are a testament of how supportive the school community is for all students, and I’m very happy to be involved,” he said.
