A YOUNG boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Hallam last month.
The five-year-old boy was hit by the car after getting off a bus near the corner of Mulguthrie Court and Frawley Road about 12.45pm on 22 December.
Intensive care paramedic Julian Pagano said the boy was thrown about 10 metres and paramedics arrived to find him lying on the ground with head injuries, deeps cuts and grazing, and a suspected chest injury.
Mr Pagano said paramedics inserted a drip into his arm and gave him pain relief before taking him to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
