POLICE were still appealing for help this week following an attempted robbery in Doveton last month in which a 16-year-old boy was threatened with a shopping trolley handle.
The incident occurred between 9.30 and 10pm on 19 March as the boy walked along Frawley Road, Doveton, near the Autumn Place shopping precinct.
Seven to eight teenagers approached the boy and one demanded he hand over his wallet. The boy said he did not have a wallet and was then threatened but he managed to run away.
The teenager police wish to speak to is described as 17-18-years-old, 175 centimetres, of thin build with olive complexion. At the time he was wearing a black Ruff Riders hooded jumper.
Information to police on 9784 5528 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
