Missing girl sighted

POLICE have received no word on the whereabouts of a missing Endeavour Hills teenager despite public pleas for help.
Natalie Taranto, 14, disappeared from her John Hunter Drive home about 5.20pm on 3 March after telling her family she was going to catch the bus.
As reported in the News last week, Ms Taranto’s family have not heard from her since her disappearance and have urged her to contact someone and let them know she is safe and well.
Sergeant Mick Sheers of Endeavour Hills police said it appeared that Ms Taranto did not want to be found.
“We have received no telephone calls but we know that she emailed a friend and said she did not want to go home.
“There have also been a few sightings of her in the area,” he said.
Sgt Sheers said Ms Taranto had not returned to school at Eumemmerring Secondary College’s Gleneagles Campus.
She is of European and Asian descent, has long, dark curly hair and is described as about 157 centimetres tall and weighing about 55 kilograms.
She was wearing a black blouse, light blue shorts and white slip-on shoes when last seen.
Anyone who has seen her or knows her whereabouts is urged to contact Sgt Blackburn from Endeavour Hills police on 9709 7666 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
