THREE family members, including a 17-year-old boy, have been charged with theft following a brazen daylight robbery in Narre Warren.
Detectives interviewed and charged a Berwick teenager on Monday over the recent robbery at the Casey Lifestyle Centre, in which a stereo system valued at $800 was stolen from JB Hi-Fi.
As reported in last week’s News, three men and three children were seen driving away in a white station wagon following the theft.
Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Gaskan of Narre Warren CIU said the 17-year-old’s aunt and his 30-year-old sister from Hampton Park would also be charged over the incident.
The teenager was bailed on Monday afternoon and was set to appear in the Dandenong Children’s Court on 25 May.
No court date had been set for the two women.
