Meadows netballers battle hard

DEVON Meadows’ three senior netball sides were competitive against Berwick despite going down in each match.

Meadows had another competitive outing considering a couple of players were suffering illness or injury, even after a week’s break.
Scores: Berwick 56 d Devon Meadows 31.

Meadows held the game together for four quarters and showed they can work as a team.
Scores: Berwick 51 d Devon Meadows 25.

@BT Sub Sport News:C GRADE

Meadows had a big improvement from the previous week with good results in different aspects of the game.
Scores: Berwick 64 d Devon Meadows 12.

Meadows played a strong Berwick team. After an injury in the first quarter we lost all momentum.. Berwick was too strong overall on the day.

Meadows played a great game of netball and, despite losing, showed the potential to take on the stronger teams. The three defenders didn’t give Berwick an inch and ensured many turnovers.

Meadows came up against a strong Berwick side. Despite a tough game Meadows kept their heads up and put in a great effort over the four quarters.
