Southern Cross Primary School students Claire Pontil-Scala, John Appleyard and Stacey Johnston enjoy
THERE was no junk food in sight recently when Southern Cross Primary School students held a Make Your Own Healthy Lunch day.
The Endeavour Hills school holds a healthy day on the first Monday of every month but this week’s event coincided with World Environment Day.
Teachers Tiffany Hutchins and Tracy Leung-Harris said the lunches aimed to promote healthy eating and good manners while helping the environment.
“The kids love it too,” they said.
