Pyrobats light up farm life

YOUNG acrobatic group Pyrobats will visit Myuna Farm this month with a show featuring acrobalance, circus and stilt performances for the whole family to enjoy.
City of Casey arts and leisure manager Robyn Bowen said the Pyrobats Show, held as part of this year’s Winter Arts Program, would take its audience on a comical journey about life on a farm.
“The Pyrobats have created this new performance especially for Myuna Farm and are very excited about performing as part of this year’s Winter Arts Program,” Ms Bowen said.
“This impressive troupe is a group of young friends with a background in gymnastics and circus.”
The Pyrobats performed together for the first time at the Fire Cycle at the Belgrave Heights Convention Centre last year.
Since then, they have taken their acrobalance and circus performances to various local community festivals and beyond with a performance at this year’s Sustainable Living Festival at Federation Square.
The performance will be on Sunday 16 July from 1 to 2pm at Myuna Farm, Kidds Road, Doveton.
The cost is $5 per person or $15 per family, which includes entry into the farm. For more information, call 9706 9944.
For more information on other Winter Arts Program events in Casey during July, pick up the Winter Arts Program brochure, available from City of Casey customer service centres at Narre Warren, Narre Warren South and Cranbourne or phone 9705 5200. The brochure can also be viewed and downloaded via the City of Casey website at www.casey.vic.gov.au/arts.
