Rook rocks back to school to say thanks

The commercial rock band organised the concert at Narre Warren South P-12 College to thank the students who helped film their video clip earlier this year.
In February, 250 students helped production company Master Films make the band’s rock clip when they spent two days filming at the school. Many students appeared on camera and two army trucks and a helicopter were also used in the clip.
Rook band manager Meg Dale of Phoenix Music Management said the concert was a way of saying thanks to the school for helping them film the video.
Students paid a gold coin to see the concert and Ms Dale said the management company would be using these funds, along with their own money, to purchase new equipment for the school’s music program.
“We wanted to give the school an everlasting gesture,” Ms Dale said.
