ENDEAVOUR United Soccer Club seniors thrilled their fans with an excellent 4-1 win on Saturday in its Southeastern State League three second-round game against Nunawading City.
Playing away, Endeavour displayed its determination throughout the match.
Carlos Retre led the way with an excellent ‘scramble’ goal, inspiring his teammates.
Attacking Nunawading City in the second half, Endeavour held its ground and fought well with the defence on top.
Courageous striker George Florindo played an outstanding game, scoring two goals.
Nunawading City scored in the second half, but not much damage was done.
Endeavour’s up-and-coming striker Mohammed Alsakran proved too hot to handle and with Nunawading City’s keeper wandering out of the box, he thumped one through into the open goal.

Endeavour will meet Heatherton United Soccer Club at the Reema Boulevard Reserve, Stacey Court, Endeavour Hills on Saturday in round 17.
Kick off is at 3 pm and the reserves at 1pm.

Endeavour played an excellent game, unfortunately Nunawading City’s keeper dived to the correct end of the goal and saved it, resulting in a missed penalty shot and the game was a nil-all draw.
The Reserves had plenty of chances, but luck was not on their side. However they kept their composure and their hosts at bay with great pressure.
