Chain used in bashing

A 21-YEAR-OLD Narre Warren man suffered head injuries when he was bashed with a chain in Keysborough last weekend.
Police said the man and a 25-year-old friend were walking through a park near Bloomfield Road when they noticed a party. Police said they joined the party but later clashed with a group of partygoers, resulting in one of the group members bashing the 21-year-old with a chain.
He was taken to the Alfred Hospital with a head injury but in a non-life threatening condition. His companion was not injured in the incident.
Police are calling for witnesses or anyone with information to report it to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
