A NARRE Warren South school took a step back in time last week when it held an inaugural grandparents’ day.
Heritage College was swarming with over 100 “Very Important Grandparents” when nans, pops, grandpas and grandmas from as far away as Ballarat, Warragul and even New Zealand came to see what their grandchildren did at school.
Everyone had a wonderful experience as students proudly showed off their classrooms, schoolwork and teachers.
One grandparent commented to teachers that things certainly had changed since they had been at school.
The morning concluded with light refreshments and hot drinks.
Teachers said it was a day that would be remembered fondly by both grandparents and their grandchildren.
