IN TIMES of emergency students at an Endeavour Hills school certainly know who to call.
Last Thursday, an ambulance officer visited Mossgiel Park Primary School to talk to grade one and two students about what to do in case of an emergency.
Students learnt how to call 000 and practised various emergency scenarios and how to talk on the phone to the operator.
Project coordinator Royce Dayton said this was the first time an ambulance officer had visited the school.
Mr Dayton said the visit had helped increase community awareness about the emergency service and equipped students with the skills they needed to deal with emergency situations.
