THIEVES made off with a tram worker’s shirt last week when a Doveton home was targeted.
The Tarata Drive home was broken into between 1.30pm Sunday, 17 September and 12.30am the next morning.
Police said the thief had gained entry after removing the mesh fly screen from a back window.
Among the stolen loot was cash, earrings worth $1000, a $1500 ring and the Yarra Trams work shirt, worth an estimated $20.
The items were stolen from a main bedroom when the thieves riffled through some dresser drawers.
Anyone with information regarding the break in can contact Narre Warren CIU on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
