Teen time for parents

CASEY’s mums and dads have been given the opportunity to spend quality time with their teenage children.
Two exciting events have been organised for girls and boys aged 1116 years to spend time with either their mother or father, and in share some exciting and challenging activities.
City of Casey Manager Youth and Community Services Janette Green said the activities included low and high ropes course, flying fox and fun games.
“The outings are also fully catered, so book early as places are strictly limited,” she said.
The events include Boys’ Day Out for fathers/male caregivers and sons on Saturday 19 November at Lyrebird Park in Yellingbo. Transport is included and the cost is $11 a person.
There is also a Girls’ Weekend Away for mothers/female caregivers and daughters on 34 December at Manyung Recreation Camp, Mount Eliza. Transport is provided and the cost is $25 a person.
