AN ENDEAVOUR Hills man has been charged with drink driving after his truck rolled over in Narre Warren.
The crash occurred about 4.40pm on Sunday, 1 October as the truck turned on to the Monash Freeway, city bound, from the Princes Highway.
Sergeant Pat McGavigan of Casey TMU said the man would be charged via summons with careless driving, failing to obey a traffic light and exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol.
He said motorists had alerted police to the drivers’ whereabouts and officers had been quick to attend.
The Narre Warren CFA attended the crash and helped mop up oil that poured out from the truck.
Lieutenant Paul Hardy of the Narre Warren Fire Brigade said fire officers had also helped lift empty pallets back into the truck after it was turned upright.
