Hot night at Hallam

MEMBERS of the Hallam Fire Brigade put down their hoses and put on their best outfits for their annual celebration dinner recently.
Volunteers and career staff attended the function at the Churchill Park Golf Club in Endeavour Hills and applauded the numerous award winners presented throughout the night.
Graham Lovett was awarded the prestigious Matthews-Merrett award for his outstanding contribution to the Hallam Fire Brigade.
Sue Mason and Anne Neve were presented with auxiliary member service awards for their continued commitment to helping with the brigade in a range of different ways.
Ms Mason has spent 12 years with the station and Ms Neve has given 25 years of service through involvement with the brigade auxiliary.
The CFA camaraderie was also on show with members from Dandenong, Hampton Park, Narre Warren and Narre Warren North Fire Brigades attending the night.
