Clean sweep for Cranbourne RSL

CRANBOURNE RSL had an excellent week with all divisions winning, including the ladies.
In RVBA division-three there were some great performances from all players.
Gary Lacey, Terry Nelson and Walter Brennan were outstanding in a good performance overall defeating Burden Park with some close finishes.
Results Terry Silberer (draw), Garry Lacey up two shots, Neil Drummond up five shots and Mal Watkinson up eight shots.
In RVBA division five there were some great wins.
B. Burgess 31-19; Bob Preston 32-18; Bill Frost 16-20 and D. Ambrose 21-26. RSL won overall by 15 shots. Total 100-85. A first-game player, Jeff Wheatley played well for Barry Burgess as his lead and hardly put a foot wrong all day.

VLBA A2 had its biggest win for the season 154-50 over Dandenong RSL Rec. Helena Rogers 36-11; Barry Burgess 49-13, Esmay May 27-18 and Sandra Bright 42-8.
VLBA B3 had another good win over Burden Park. Results: Anita Clapperton 35-10 and Anne Darby 23-13 Overall 58-23.
