OPPORTUNISTIC thieves walked right in to a Narre Warren South property earlier this week.
Police said the roller door of the Peppertree Avenue garage was left open and the burglars gained access between 7.30pm on 25 November and 7.30am the next day.
A handbag, Ryobi drill and black ladies jacket was stolen from an unlocked 2006 Mazda sedan parked in the garage.
The items were valued at $270.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Narre Warren Police on 9705 3111.
