Cranbourne loses run chase

CRANBOURNE’S turf-one bats side failed in their run chase of Buckley Ridges’ first innings score of 282, being bowled out for 159 on Saturday.
The mainstay was Brad Angus (60) who almost batted right through the innings.

On a day where not much went right in the field, the occasional mental lapses in the field proved costly for Cranbourne.

The sole positive was Chris Slater’s wholehearted bowling spell of 14 overs in the heat in which he picked up one of the two wickets to fall for the day.
