Thieves take pet birds

THREE pet birds were just a few of the precious items stolen by thieves when they broke into a Narre Warren property last week.
Police said the Nandina Road garage was entered between 8am last Saturday and 7.30pm the next day.
A Yamaha motorbike, Karcher high-pressure cleaner and cricket equipment was stolen along with two ring neck parrots and a cockatiel.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Narre Warren police on 9705 3111.
