A DOVETON man will be charged on summons after he was detected drink driving and allegedly offering lifts for cash in Dandenong on the weekend.
Police pulled over the 30-year-old Doveton man on Robinson Street around 9.40pm on Saturday for a routine check and noticed four teenage boys in the car drinking alcohol.
The boys informed police the man had offered them a lift to a party – allegedly for $10. The driver underwent an evidentiary breath test and returned a reading of 0.184.
He will be charged on summons with drink driving and unlicensed driving.
