MICHELLE Howell raised $4000 for the leukaemia Foundation when she participated in the World’s Greatest Shave.
The James Cook Primary School staff member, along with grade five student Jacob, participated in the fundraiser in front of an inspired crowd last week.
The pair shaved their hair in front of the rest of the school on Friday 15 March which tied in with a funky hair day.
Jacob managed to raise $190 himself, while the schools fundraising efforts totalled $245.
Students sat in awe as they watched one of their teachers, and a peer, brave the shave.
