EUMEMMERRING College Gleneagles students made a big splash on Tuesday as they took to the water for their annual swimming carnival.
The Doveton Pool in the Park was the scene of the event that saw plenty of action – both in and out of the water.
Students took part in more than 90 swimming events including backstroke, freestyle and relay events.
Throughout the day students collected points for their respective house teams with the Harriers coming out on top followed closely by the Falcons, Kites and Kestrels.
Under-16 swimmers Holly and April recorded impressive results along with under-14 participant Daniel who blitzed the field.
Another highlight for the day was the swim plunge where all students got a chance to cool off and splash around in the water.
Cool time at carnival
