Rotary fires up brekky for masses

FOLLOWING an early morning dawn service last week, hundreds of Casey residents enjoyed the annual Anzac Shot Gun Breakfast held by the Rotary Club of Narre Warren.
President Tim Carswell said he was proud of club volunteers for their amazing efforts following the Anzac Day Dawn Service held at Narre Warren Civic Centre on Thursday morning.
He said residents who attended the breakfast following the service were thrilled about the fantastic breakfast.
“The overwhelming response of the participants was one of praise. We have had a number of wonderful comments on Facebook from people who attended the breakfast,” Mr Carswell said.
“The Berwick RSL certainly appreciates the work that we put into provide the breakfast.”
Mr Carswell thanked the Rotary Club of Narre Warren’s community director Tim Fisher for organising the breakfast and past president Roger Hall for organising the food, bread and wreath which was laid at the Berwick service.
