Shots fired not gang related

SHOTS fired at a Doveton house were not related to motorcycle gang activity, according to police.
Police are investigating after shots were fired into a house on Conferta Crescent about 12.30am on Monday morning. A number of people were home at the time, however no one was injured.
Investigators believe the offenders may have fled the scene in a small vehicle.
Supt Peter De Santo said that the occupant of the house was believed to be associated with Outlaw Motorcyclce gang members, but was not a direct member of the gang.
“We are confident (this shooting) was not related to gang activity,” Supt De Santo said.
“The victim is cooperating with police.”
