Ronald says thanks

ON THE behalf of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), I would like to thank the local community of Berwick for their generous support of the recent RMHC Ride for Sick Kids Victoria.
The week-long event, which saw 35 riders travel 760km across the state, has raised in excess of $400,000 for RMHC programs in Victoria, including the charity’s cornerstone program Ronald McDonald House.
The impressive fund-raising total surpassed our expectations and wouldn’t have been possible without the overwhelming support of the Berwick community.
Ronald McDonald House Parkville and Monash provide a ‘home-away-from-home’ for thousands of families from regional Victoria and other areas when they need to travel to Melbourne with a seriously ill child undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
The money raised will allow RMHC to continue their valuable work in providing support to seriously ill children and their families, and will assist to expand their programs to accommodate even more families.
Thank you.
Brett Tool,
Committee Chairman,
RMHC Ride for Sick kids Victoria.
