BATS Theatre Company celebrated its18th birthday at its annual general meeting last Sunday week.
The Casey-based volunteer committee and all theatre company members were invited to share in the festivities.
BATS life members Sharon Maine and Susan Bergman cut the birthday cake.
Casey councillor Wayne Smith chaired the meeting with help from BATS president Jenny Black.
Ms Black spoke about all the exciting events over the past year and how successful the non-profit organisation had been.
Other highlights on the day included Jenni Hunter and Susan Collier receiving silver badges for being members of the BATS committee for five years.
Narre Warren resident Olivia Hogan also received a trophy for five years of participation and performances as a youth member of BATS.
Olivia said she loved her past five years being with BATS and had gained valuable experience since the people she had worked with were “awesome”.
The 16-year-old said she had made many friendships throughout her years as a BATS member and hoped to continue working with the theatre company.
